E-mail address of customer Follow

Hi,

I want to know if there is a way of retrieving the e-mail address of a customer after I have sent them an invoice from my cell phone on site.

    Thanks for the question. Due to the POPI act (Protection Of Personal Information), we don't store your customers' email or mobile numbers at all after sending the digital receipts.

    Thanks for that answer - however, some of the clients would like to receive info from me, after a sale has been made.  Can you add an option to agree/disagree  to subscribe to marketing?

  • Hi Luke/David, thanks for reaching out and so sorry for the delay!

    You can, in future, add a note to a transaction and you will be able to view the note in the transaction history again after the sale. To add a note, you'll enter the charge amount but instead of clicking on 'Charge', you will need to select the shopping cart image next to 'Charge'. The next page will have the option to add a Note at the top-right corner. You can add any info like the customer's name, email address, ph number, etc.
