Yoco Payments

Plug Yoco Payments into your website

You can now accept payments with Yoco in your online store. Integrate the Yoco payment gateway into your Woocommerce or Wordpress website and start accepting online payments immediately.

How does it work?

Once you integrate Yoco into your online store, your customer will see a new Yoco payment method on your checkout page. When your customer chooses to pay via Yoco, a pop-up appears onscreen. They enter their credit or debit card details, click 'submit' and then complete the 3D-Secure authorisation with a One-Time-Pin. After payment, your customer is redirected to the ‘Checkout Result’ page, and they also receive an email to confirm payment status.
For more information, see the Wordpress Store

What are the fees?

Online payments are usually more expensive than in-person payments. But until 1 September 2020, you'll be charged the same fees for online payments as your current card machine fees. As of 01/09/2020, the transaction fees for online payments will be 0.5% higher than card machine payments which start at 2.95% (ex. VAT).

How do I get paid?

All payments are linked to your existing Yoco Account and money will be paid out within 48 hours as part of your usual payouts.

What cards are accepted?

All VISA and MasterCard cards that are 3D Secure enabled are accepted, including international cards. AMEX and Diners are not currently accepted. Note that all payments need to be in South African Rands.

How do I start accepting payments on my website through Yoco?
