How to get started with staff switching


Before you start, make sure you’ve updated your Yoco app to at least version 2.2.5 on Android and version 2.15.2 on iOS. You can check to see if there are any updates in your app store or by finding the app version in the app’s Get Help menu.

Then follow these easy steps:

  1. Tap the Menu → Settings → Personal Details to set a PIN
  2. Tap the Menu → Manage My Store → Staff → Staff Member Name to set a PIN for your staff members
  3. When you or staff member is on the lock screen, hit the “lock” button in the top right corner to lock the POS
  4. Tap any staff member name to then login as them, using their PIN

What happens if a staff member forgets their pin?

A Manager or Owner can unlock and reset the pin for the staff member in the Staff Section of Manage Store. The Staff can then unlock and create a new pin for themselves.
