Settlement guidelines


All card transactions processed through Yoco are paid directly into your bank account! 

These are the bank details that you filled in on your Yoco Business Portal.

  IMPORTANT: Bear in mind that the amount we settle into your account will be less our marginal transaction fee.

What I need to receive my settlement?


For us to settle your account, you would need to have:

    1. Provided us with your bank details in your Yoco Business Portal,
    2. Have either provided your FICA documents to our couriers or sent a copy of these to fica@yoco.co.za (proof of residence and copy of your ID), and
    3. Transacted a minimum amount of R15.00 in card transactions on your Yoco Wireless Card Reader.

How long will settlement take?


The end of the banking business day is 7 pm. So, all transactions processed using your Yoco app, before 7 pm each day, will be available for settlement within 2 business days thereafter. Any transactions you process using your Yoco app after 7 pm, is considered as part of the next days’ transactions. As such, you should receive settlement within 3 business days after the date of the transaction.

Given that Sundays and public holidays are not considered banking business days, the settlement process will only start the next working day.

  IMPORTANT: Settlement payouts happen the day Yoco transfers funds to your bank account and not the day the funds are received into your bank account. Please allow 1 to 2 banking business days for the funds to reflect in your bank account.

Is there a minimum settlement amount?


To receive a settlement, you would need to have transacted a minimum of R15.00 (before the deduction of our fees) since your last settlement.

You can view all your settlements, at any time, by logging in to your business portal, then navigating to Sales and Refunds, and selecting Settlements.

The settlement calendar, found in the My Settlements screen, indicates how much was settled into your account, on which calendar day, and the details of each settlement paid out to you.
